Fish and raisin meatballs

    1 egg.
    1 cup raisins, Verde Valle
    4 ground fish filets
    1/2 cup breadcrumbs

    FOR THE SAUCE


    4 tomatoes
    1/4 onion
    1 garlic clove
    1 tablespoon oil
    Salt and pepper

Preparation

MIX in a bowl the fish with the rest of the ingredients, except the raisins.

WHEN you have a paste, take a small portion and form the meatballs, but place 3 raisins in the center of each one.

RESERVE in the refrigerator while you make the sauce.

BOIL tomatoes and raisins in water until they get soft, then blend with onion and garlic.

POUR this strained sauce into a pot with oil, cook for 10 minutes until it boils.

REDUCE heat and add the meatballs separately from each other.

COOK for 15 more minutes, check the seasoning and serve.
